Community Activities:
1.	OC Fair - The chapter has solicited plant donations for the OC Fair horticultural exhibit from local nurseries.
2.	Toy Drive - members donate toys at Christmastime for CHOC (Children's Hospital of Orange County) and Ronald McDonald House.
3.	CHOC & Ronald McDonald House visits - each year the chapter Santa Claus (Reiner Metz of DM Color Express) and a handful of board members visit CHOC and deliver to toys to the sick children. Afterwards, Santa and his elves visit Ronald McDonald House. The House is "home away from home" to the families of ill children. Santa is able to give toys to these kids and their siblings.
4.	The chapter provides financial support to the U.C. Coop Ext. Master Gardeners, 4-H, Centennial Farm and Sherman Gardens.
Fundraising Activities:
1.	Plant Auction and Chili Cook-off, 8/14/02. Approximately 800 people in attendance (open to the public). Raised net profit of $14,000. Donations made to OC Ronald McDonald House, Master Gardeners, CANERS, U.C. Coop Ext. 4-H, Sherman Gardens, Costa Mesa High School Color Guard.
2.	20th Annual Golf Tournament. Approximately 100 golfers. Net raised $5,500. Proceeds to CANPAC.
